When our lives are upended by loss, either the loss of a loved one, or an unexpected life change, life as we know it can come to a full stop. It can feel dark and confusing, and basic tasks seem meaningless. It is so hard to face the day. Therapy can provide you with a safe place to grieve, find hope and make sense of what life can look like for you again.

Find your way after experiencing a loss…

You will receive compassionate focus and gentle guidance to sort through the process of grieving a loss. Together we will also work on building the skills to deal with this difficult time in your life.

Therapy will consist of 50 minute, one-on-one sessions on a weekly basis. We begin weekly in order to gain traction towards reducing the suffering and finding a way forward.

First, I provide a safe, soothing space that you may not be finding in other places right now.

Through hearing your story, I will start to get a picture of what your life has been like since experiencing the loss.

We will work through immediate concerns like how to set up systems in your life to take care of yourself in the hardest moments with your grief and uncertainty.

We will also address the larger impact on your life and explore ways to rebuild a sense of meaning and identify after this loss.

Over the course of our sessions, you will start reconnecting with possibility, hope and see a path forward.
