Helping you not panic while
you sort out your life

Adulting is hard

Entering adulthood can bring anxiety, confusion, comparisons, and self-doubt. It can be scary to try new things. Trusting ourselves in a world that always seems to be seeking someone new or better can feel impossible.

Does this sound like you?

Anxiety and worry about your future makes it hard to focus
You wonder things like “what am I supposed to be doing” and “am I making the right decisions?”
You find yourself in constant comparison to peers who seem to know what they’re doing
You feel lonely as you branch out from past relationships and try to forge new ones
The practical side of your life feels a mess and you don’t know how you’ll do it all- maintain your first real job, manage your finances, and take care of your body, mind and social life

Deciding to try therapy isn’t easy. It can be hard to open up especially if you’ve been under pressure to look like you’ve got it all figured out. You’re not alone in how difficult adulting can be.

It is possible to find more calm and clarity

In therapy I provide a non-judgmental and safe space to talk freely about your anxieties and uncertainties about this phase of your life, whether you’re newly adulting or you’re already an adult facing big life changes and want to steady the ship.

Therapy can help you stop panicking about your life and find your footing.

Imagine If You Could...

Feel more calm and centered
Trust yourself to make decisions
Manage setbacks and the tough stuff with more calm and confidence
Feel more clear about what is important to you, who you are now, and what direction to go in next
Explore ways to find new authentic friendships and relationships that support you just as you are

Step Back and Calm the Chaos

Therapy for adulting can help you manage the pressures you’ve been facing. You will learn practical tools to better manage life and cope with the emotional turmoil of trying to keep it all together.

How this will be different: therapy isn’t going to be more advice about what you should be doing in a certain timeframe. Instead it will be a non-judgmental space, just for you, to explore who you are, and where you might want to go in life. With my gentle guidance, you’ll feel less stressed and more calm and clear.

Therapy will consist of 50 minute, one-on-one sessions on a weekly basis that help you work through your anxieties and stress around adulting. We begin weekly to gain traction towards reducing anxiety and getting to a calmer, clearer state.

Here’s how it will work
step-by-step

1

Through our guided conversation, I will start to get a picture of what your challenges have been.

2

We will start by helping you with immediate concerns like soothing paralyzing symptoms of anxiety and worry so you can begin to feel more centered and calm.

3

We will explore how you will care for yourself and structure the practical aspects of your life so you can feel more in charge and less overwhelmed.

4

You will learn new skills to reduce negative self-talk and begin to develop self-trust in who you are.

5

Over the course of our sessions, you will start to find clarity around the direction you want to go that feels like an authentic reflection of who you are.
