Private Pay and Specialized Care
My practice provides focused, specialized therapy for individuals experiencing anxiety, IBS, and the cumulative effects of high levels of responsibility. This work is structured, individualized, and designed to support meaningful and lasting change
Initial Session (60 minutes): $300
The initial session is a comprehensive assessment to understand your situation in depth and establish a clear clinical direction for our work together.
Ongoing Therapy Sessions (50 minutes): $275
Sessions are typically held weekly initially to support continuity and meaningful progress. As therapy progresses, sessions may transition to bi-weekly or monthly, depending on your needs and goals.
Calm Gut Calm Mind Program (12 weeks): $300 per session
Calm Gut Calm Mind is a structured therapy program designed for individuals experiencing anxiety and IBS or related gastrointestinal concerns. This step-by-step approach includes session summaries and targeted therapeutic materials to support your work between sessions, helping to calm the anxiety–gut cycle and restore greater stability, confidence, and trust in your body.
Practice Structure
I work with clients in a consistent, ongoing format to support depth, continuity, and meaningful progress. Therapy is an active, collaborative process, and regular attendance is an important part of effective care.
Insurance & Reimbursement
I am an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies. Many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services.
If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be reimbursed for a portion of the session fee.
I provide a monthly superbill, which is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Reimbursement rates vary depending on your individual plan.
I am licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Connecticut and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.
To understand your coverage, you may wish to contact your insurance company and ask:
-
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
-
What is my deductible for out-of-network services?
-
What percentage of the fee is reimbursed?
-
How many sessions per year are covered?
-
Do I need authorization or a referral?
-
How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?
Payment
Payment is made by credit card, debit card, or HSA/FSA card.
For convenience and security, you will keep a card on file in your secure client portal. Your card will be automatically charged following each session.
Cancellation Policy
Consistent attendance is an important part of effective therapy.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, are charged the full session fee.
Next Steps
The first step is to schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation phone call. We will briefly discuss your situation and determine whether my specialized approach to anxiety and gut–brain conditions is appropriate.
